  1. no detox no methadone???? You must be gone to think you can quit being a junky and not detox….quitting is detoxing. If you are against methadone, check this site out…

  6. Detoxing is very serious. You need to go to a facility to help you detox. We are talking life or death here. You are playing with fire trying to detox at home. Get on the internet to find a facility close to you.

  7. dont listen to all these fools. i quit heroin myself without going to detox, anyone can do it. you wont die if you dont go to detox, the only drug that can happen with is benzo’s or alcohol. if you want you can try to dose yourself down over weeks to avoid intense withdrawl but either way youre gonna feel shitty, probably for a few weeks. cold sweats, pains, bad mood, exhaustion, temperature fluctuations, and cravings can last for months. but if you really want to do it you can, just smoke some pot and try to relax.

  8. The withdrawal syndrome we have been discussing is what is termed 'primary' or 'early' abstinence.

    A substantial portion of the physical symptoms of this stage seem to depend on the activity of a part of the brainstem called the locus coeruleus.

    Opiates depress this area and it would therefore be expected to become hyperactive during withdrawal.

    The locus coeruleus is an important center in the brain's fear-alarm system, and such hyperactivity would be consistent with the marked anxiety and agitation withdrawing addicts report.

    Fortunately for withdrawing addicts, other drugs beside the opiates can depress this region and one of them is clonidine.

If anybody should be try for treason is the Republican leaders, the Conservative pill-addicted hosts of talk-radio shows and Fox News network so-called stars who urge racist inbred criminals to harm our president. Americans overwhelmingly voted for Obama, accept it and move on. No one in their right mind who really cares for this great country would have voted for McCain knowing who his vice-president was because way too much was at stake. Americans can spot mediocrity, you know. It seems Republicans love inciting hatred by accusing Obama of being an Arab, funny you guys never said anything when former president G.W. Bush was in the oil business with them, why wasn’t it a problem then? hypocrites.
