  1. Blanco has been a HUGE disappointment for the Padres.

    I would say Blanco has been exactly what Padre fans (who have a clue about baseball) thought he would be. Pedestrian (at best) at the plate, and a mentor for Hundley and a young pitching staff.

    Unfortunately none of the Pads pitchers (or catchers) can stay healthy long enough to develop any concistency.

    Hank White is doing just fine…
