Most of it was probably by migration over land bridges between the continents and islands which were connected long ago as sea levels were lower. There are also many evidences that ancient man was capable of extended sea voyages between the continents and created/possessed maps of various areas including Antartica before it was covered in ice. …maps like the Pirei Reis. The Olmecs of Meso- or Central America predate the Mayans by over 1000 years and have definite characteristics of African origins including a couple dozen very large stone heads which were carved with Negritic features. Incan statues also bear resemblances of Negritic or Asian facial feautures.
Similarities between Egyptian and American cultures and the Pirei Reis map showing Antartica before it was covered in ice as well as African and South American coastlines……..
Ancient optics which may have been used by Viking explorers and others…..
