Do Detox pads that you place under your feet when you go to sleep really work to remove toxins from the body?

  1. I’d say it’s a gimmick.

I like to soak my feet, but I don’t think it pulls toxins from all over the body…just your feet.

Maybe they pull a little dirt off your soles.

  2. I don’t see how this could really work. First of all, any toxins in your body would be concentrated in your blood stream. The epipithelial layer that covers your skin is avascular (does not contain blood vessels) and is especially thick on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. The top layer of skin on these body parts (about 3/4 of it) is actually dead because it does not receive oxygen or nutrients from the blood (which means it cant receive toxins from the blood either!). I have never heard of a detox plan that works. In my opinion, following a healthy diet and avoiding these toxins in the first place is the only way to keep your body free of such harmful substances.

  3. I don’t trust them one bit.
You are better off taking detox pills and antioxidents

  4. mmmmmm… I personally would say no..I wanted them to work. I really did. but discovered if you took a warm water filled plastic bag, put the detox pad on it, and then put a heat pad over the whole thing you get the same reaction. It is just a chemical reaction causing that yucky stuff to show up. The herb they use changes colors with moisture. they could remove some stuff though from the soles of your feet, but it won’t be much. If you feel your body is in need of serious internal cleansing you’re going to need more then foot pads because at best these pads are only removing trace amounts of waste from your body.

  5. I kind of tend to put this one in the same category as those “Colon Cleansing” products stating you carry up to 25 pounds of crap in your colon all the time, blah blah blah…what a bunch of crap!…literally. I about fell over laughing when I saw that one. LOL…

It’s just another stupid gimmick to make money off of stupid people.

  6. No.

Your liver and your kidneys naturally remove toxins from your body, filtering all the blood in your body many times a day. The toxins are excreted in your urine, feces and sweat.

There is no need to do any “toxin cleansing”, ever.

  7. Nope, it’s just a gimmick. If anything it would clean the the bottom of your feet, seeing that the the stuff that comes off on them when removed from your feet is just dead skin cells and whatever was on your feet at the time

  8. I LOVE being the dissenting voice here!!!!! As the body is able to take on toxins through the skin so it is able to release them through the skin!!! Sweating is an example as to how toxins are released!! Sweat is oderless UNLESS it is carrying another product such as a toxin -yet we all know what a sweaty person smells like!!!!!:-) The detox pads do just that but in an enhanced way with the ingredients in the pad!! I know of other cases besides myself who have had high levels of arsenic in the blood and used the pads to remove it !! I was tested after the use and my level was normal!! It takes a while but the results were there!! The pads can be tested as well for many of the toxins !!!

  10. This game looks almost identical to the entirely free indy game of 2 or 3 eyars back. It is called Gravitron and has the same gameplay and structure but less flashy. Your job is to fly around the cave and save stranded people then you make your way out. Gravitron was great.
