  1. Just one more step towards securing the Islamic state. There will be no thanks for this effort, just more demands and more anger from the Muslim community.

We must learn we can and will never appease these monsters….

  2. it’s kind of stupid whenever someone says something of kanye’s sucks you have 500 other hypebeasts going “NUH UH HOMEY UR WRONG STFU UR JUST A HATER”
i think if someone thinks that these shoes are badly designed and could probably be done better by a two year old, respect it! that’s what these comment boxes are for, for someone to either say they like something or they don’t.
anyways, in my opinion, thse are pretty bad. i’d honestly expect these coming out at payless or something, because a. the sole is WAY too chunky for a low-top, chunky soles really only work with hitops b. all white boat shoes don’t really work… c. the back sk8-hi rip off part really doesn’t go
i’m not going to say anything about price because honestly there’s much more that we could be complaining about, like lanvins or dior homme or jil sander or whatever.
or bapes! you don’t see a lot of people commenting about how a $300 air force one knockoff is too expensive…

  3. The "health benefits" are derived from a diet lower in processed/industrial foods. Most of the meat that is consumed daily is from cows that are raised on an unnatural diet of corn/feces (cows have rumen in their stomach for digesting grass……..not corn), injected with growth hormones, and lead short and miserable lives on a large concrete floor. As a result, this meat is not really meat but a dubious mixture of chemicals and additives that make its way into the human body, and undoubtedly increases the risk of cancer, diabetes and obesity. Vegetarians are not immune to processed foods, but likely consume less due to a more steady intake of fruits and vegetables (unfortunately, many of these also contain chemicals…..but thats for another post) and are therefor likely to be more healthy.

  5. That's the problem with getting moral values separated from their proper function, which is group survival. You start having problems with people whose "beliefs" aren't the same as yours, even though both you and they are "good" people.

I'm a vegetarian… most of the time. My usual meal is bean & rice soup, spiced with red pepper, paprika, oregano and cumin. But I am not _morally_ opposed to eating meat. I just avoid it because it's expensive and has cholesterol in it. Eating bean soup and sprouted wheat is cheaper and healthier; which means its more practical.

Still, I'm not going to make a moral fuss if I go visiting with friends who eat meat often. I'll eat the meat, and it'll probably taste good. Meat usually does have a special savoriness if it's a good cut, properly cooked. When I get back home, I'll go back to being a vegetarian… most of the time.

  6. Bah, Converse are great as long as you’re not jumping. I use ‘em for racquetball & squash and they’re excellent for my various kung fu classes b/c they’re supple and grip the floor well. For the same reason, they’re excellent chasing my boy around the playground, as well: the soles wrap around the bars of the climbing structures and cling to slides like geckofeet.

Kids come in handy in another way: you have a built-in excuse to get on the floor and build spaceships/etc out of legos for hours…

I don’t usually wear my chucks for that, though.

  7. Do you use reusable bags? If so, do you find it generally accomplishes your shopping or do you have to shop more frequently and buy less per visit to make that system work?

  8. I would like to take a time out from the Right vs Left hate fest and post a bit of the speech President Obama gave today with Nancy Reagan in attendance in honor of Ronald Reagan.

Is it bad wizbang edict to post and run?
